Develop intuitive software and services that save first responders time, money, and stress.
Our Story
Founded by the son of a second generation fire captain, Stationwise was built to help Chiefs spend more time in the field and less time behind a desk.
How to solve fire departments' interoperability challenges?
Marcus Edwards founded Stationwise while at Stanford Business School after learning that 90% of the Chiefs he interviewed considered “interoperability” a top concern. Even departments with the latest state-of-the-art equipment, he found, relied on decades-old software that required time-intensive workarounds just to put buts in seats. The solution was to build a company from zero, working with those who serve to develop tech that finally worked for them.
Founded by the son of a 2nd-gen fire captain
I founded Stationwise to build the best Silicon Valley tech for underserved public servants. What started as a research project has evolved into my take on the family business, and I couldn’t be more fired up (pun intended).

Stationwise launches to modernize responder staffing tech
Stationwise came out of stealth in 2024, launching its core staffing solution in California, Texas, and Illinois, with more states rolling out soon! The tool is designed to be a core foundation for first responders, modernizing the antiquated tech stack and enabling Chiefs to get back to fighting fires, not software.
